Im not surprised tbh, after the bolton defeat he was saying, 'Im I the right man for this club?'

He leaves after 100 games in charge.

He's certainly a character. Having played under Brian Clugh and Fergie, it was obvious he would have a strange personality. To be honest, to leave Sunderland after he controversiallly left Ireland in the World Cup, everyone knows he is going to walk away if thigns aren't going well.
